Dilhorne Hall Pools

 

Situated at Cheadle, near the A50.

Dilhorne Top Pool

Dilhorne Bottom Pool

 

Approach by recognised paths only

Parking on the car park, no parking on the track or in front of the access gates

No trees, shrubs or flowers to be picked or damaged

No 'method' feeders. Minimal use of ground bait (maximum 1kg per person per day)

No fires, No guns, No litter

Only full members may fish at night

Smith's Pool (Lido)

 

Situated in Smithpool Road, Fenton.

Day tickets are available for this water from Dolphin Tackle, Whieldon Road and  Rowleys Fishing Tackle, 76 Trentham Road, Dresden at £4.00 (£1.50 Juveniles)

 

Fishing in designated pegs only

No floating baits, live baits or uncooked nut or seed

Barbless hooks only

No bait boats or similar

Back leads to be used when ledgering for carp and pike

Unhooking mats to be used as appropriate and all anglers must be in possession of a suitable landing net

No fires or barbecues

All fish to be returned to the water

No polyball inserts

No dogs, fires, guns or litter

Minimum of 12lb line and 20lb wire trace must be used when Pike fishing

Age limits: Over 8 years can fish from dawn to dusk

Under 8 years must be accompanied by responsible adult

However, the Society cannot accept responsibility for the safety and conduct of an angler under 18years of age.  Children remain the responsibility of parent/guardian at all times

Only full members may fish at night

Trent and Mersey Canal

 

Please be aware of the overhead electric power lines. Obey all warning signs.

No fishing within 30 metres of an overhead electric power line.

Fishing from Stoke Basin (Bridge number 111) to Meaford bottom lock.

Day tickets available from Dolphin Tackle, Whieldon Road and Rowley's Tackle,                76 Trentham Road £4.00 (£1.50 Juveniles) per day.

Overflow Complex

 

Situated at Sideway, Stoke

This water is affected by overhead electric power lines - no fishing within 30 metres of the power lines.

 

Keep the gate locked at all times-

Keep the recognised footpaths

No fishing within 30 metres of an overhead electric power line

No fires, No gun, No litter

No fishing of the canal from the overflow bank

Only full members may fish at night

River Dove, Doveridge

 

This water is affected by overhead electric power lines - no fishing within 30 metres of the power lines.

 

Approach the water by recognised paths only

Close all gates and observe all farmer's rights

No trout to be kept in keepnets

No fish including trout or grayling to be removed

Accompanied juveniles ages 12 years and over allowed but the adult will be held responsible for any complaint or accident

Sutton Brook

 

This water is affected by overhead electric power lines - no fishing within 30 metres of the power lines.

Access to the water is via stile near A516 road bridge or Collycroft Lake

 

Fly fishing from 15th March to 15th June inclusive and should be by the use of recognised fly fishing tackle

No fish including trout or grayling to be removed

Longton Park, Trentham Road.

We now have fishing rights on both the bottom and top lakes.

Day tickets at £4.00 (£1.50 Juveniles) available from Rowley's Tackle 76 Trentham Road and Dolphin Tackle, Whieldon Road.

Knypersley Reservoir

 

Situated in Biddulph

This venue is shared with other members of the Cheshire and North Staffs Angling Association.  Any angler in breach of the Association rules will automatically lose the right to fish and all associated clubs will be notified.

Fishing dawn till dusk only

No carp or pike to be kept in keepnets

All unused bait to be taken home

Matches are listed on the site notice must take priority
